A dog and a kitten

I've been away from my blog for longer than I intended, me and my husband both caught the most terrible stomach bug and have been laid up in bed for days...thank goodness little m didn't catch it, I don't think I could have coped! I had never thought before about how hard it is to look after a crying baby when you can barely look after yourself. It has been a nightmare.

But it was lovely today to finally get back to normal, and I managed to finish off the 2 other softies I had half finished that are also to be donated to the bushfire appeal.
Meet Bob the Dog.....

...and Mitten the (sleepy) Kitten.

I'll be dropping them off tomorrow, along with the 2 bears. Hopefully than can give a little happiness to someone's day.

  1. I love bob and mitten - so cute. I great effort you have made donating 4 softies for the bushfire appeal :o)

  2. They are so quirky and beautiful and will make a small person very happy! Lovely idea to help the bushfires appeal x

  3. Gosh, health is precious, isn't it? Especially when you're a parent of small people. Glad to hear you're better! And these toys - so so sweet! Really, they will make somebody's life happier!

  4. I just love your pup and sleepy kitty--thanks so much for adding me to your Flickr contacts and introducing me to your work!

By the way, my husband, 2 year old daughter and me were all sick with the flu at the same time this winter. it was awful! We flew my mom in to help us out. Thank goodness for Grandma!

  5. My 5 year old saw these and started making up stories about them. I wish my skillz were up to this standard. Like you I have a new baby to look after so finding it hard to squeeze in practice time on the sewing machine.
